What we keep: your email address, the country and language you chose, the stories and subjects you follow, when and on which page you subscribed and confirmed, the version of this notice you saw, your browser’s name, and a keyed hash of your connection’s address (used only to limit abuse; the address itself is never stored).
Why: to send you the digest you asked for, and nothing else. We do not sell, rent or share your data. Emails are sent through our email provider, which processes them on our behalf. Our emails carry no tracking pixel and their links are not tracked.
Legal basis: your consent, given when you confirm your subscription. You can withdraw it at any time: every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
How long: an unconfirmed subscription is deleted after 7 days; an unsubscribed one after 30 days; the record of each email sent after 90 days. An address that bounced permanently or reported our email as spam is kept on a do-not-send list, with that reason only.
Your rights: the link in every email lets you see and change your subjects, pause the emails, unsubscribe, or delete all your data at once. You can also ask us for access, correction or deletion by email.
